Why are we hosting Hope for Hamilton County?
It started with a simple conversation among local business owners: How can we help?
As longtime veterans of the hospitality industry, we decided to do what we know best—throw a party, gather people around the table, and bring our community together for a purpose.
The White River was literally bursting at its banks, infrastructure throughout Hamilton County failed, and many local homeowners and businesses suffered devastating losses.
Insurance may eventually help, but claims, inspections, and assessments take time. The need is happening right now. People need meals, basic necessities, and support to help them keep going while they figure out what comes next.
Hope for Hamilton County is being organized by local businesses that want our neighbors to know they are not facing this alone. The participating businesses and vendors are generously donating their time, talents, products, and services to keep event expenses to a minimum.
The dollars raised will go to the Hamilton County Community Foundation to be distributed to those affected by the flooding—helping provide relief where it is needed most.
This is what community looks like: showing up, pitching in, and reminding our neighbors that they will make it through because their community has their back.
