Every September, my home gets a little wardrobe change. Summer is all about minimal greenery, breezy textures, and clean lines—fresh and simple, just like the season.
By the second week of September though, I’m ready to cozy things up. Out come the pumpkins, amber glass, dried grasses, and moody foliage. My mantel gets a layered makeover, and the dining table trades its light summer look for woven chargers, striped runners, and florals bursting with sunflowers and roses.

This autumn look sticks around until mid-November, when I start tucking in winter greenery and layering in Christmas magic.
It’s one of my favorite rhythms—keeping summer light, leaning into fall layers, and letting each season slowly shift the feel of home.
